Salon noticesWhat this site holds, what the office holds, and what leaves the building
One company, two jobs — choose which leads
Front of houseChairs, basins and the side room at Aylesham Back officeAnother salon diary, held from the same buildingThis site, and what it does not do
To you, and written about this actual website rather than about websites in general.
These ten pages are files. There is no login, no account, no comment box and no form that submits anything anywhere. Nothing you type on this site is sent to us, because there is nothing here that can send it.
No cookie is set by this site, so there is no banner asking you about cookies: there would be nothing for you to agree to. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no pixel, no embedded video and no map frame. Nobody here can tell that you read this page.
The two sheets — the chair utilisation one on the front page and the diary load one on the desk page — do their arithmetic inside your own browser and keep nothing when you close the tab. The clock readout reads the clock in your device and sends no part of it anywhere.
One request does leave your browser. The headings and body text use two typefaces served by Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for one stylesheet and the font files it names, and Google can see that a request was made. If you would rather it did not, block it: every page is written to read properly in whatever serif and sans your own device falls back to, and nothing else on the site depends on it.
What the salon keeps about its own clients
If you have an appointment with us, the booking record holds your name, the number you gave, an email address if you gave one, what was booked and when, the dates of any skin test, and the notes you said out loud at the chair. It is kept to run the diary and to know, next time, how long to book. Nothing is sold, shared or sent on to anybody.
To ask what is held against your name, or to have it corrected, write to salon@njprettyface.info with the word records in the subject line and the name the appointment was booked under.
Records that belong to another salon
Owner to owner. If we hold your diary, your clients records are yours and this is exactly where they sit.
When we work your diary, we work inside your software on a login you created, so the client records stay in your system and under your control throughout. We act on your written instructions — your service list, your lead times, your escalation names — and on nothing else.
What exists at this end is narrower than owners expect, and deliberately so. The contact log for the days we covered: date and time, channel, name and number, which salon, what was asked, what was done, what was left for you. The handover emails we sent you. That is all. No copy of your client list is exported, no card details are ever given to us, and no part of your till, stock or staff records is visible from here.
What leaves the building is two things. Appointment reminders, sent from your own account where your software permits it, so they carry your name. And the handover, to the address you nominate. Nothing goes anywhere else, and nothing is ever sent to another salon on the sheet.
When cover ends, you delete the login and drop the diversion, and the log for the period comes to you as a single spreadsheet. Ask for it at any time, not only at the end: write to salon@njprettyface.info naming the salon and the dates.
Statements about work, and the particulars on the registerRead together, these are the whole of it
Nothing on this site says what any piece of hairdressing or beauty work will do. Every description is of duration and process: how long an appointment is held open, what happens inside it and in what order, and what is agreed before it starts. No page here offers advice about skin, hair or health, and nobody at the salon or at the desk gives any.
No figure printed by either sheet is a price, a quotation or a statement of what is available. Both are labelled as guides where they stand, and the only record of what is genuinely free in a diary is the diary itself.

Correspondence about either half of the business reaches the same address, which is read on the days the door is open and on the Monday the desk is working. Say which half you are writing about in the subject line and it reaches the right person sooner.
